Value Defined

"(1) At common law – money, money's worth, or a valid deed. (2) In equity – money, money's worth, or marriage consideration. (3) For the purposes of the Land Registration Act 2002, ‘valuable consideration' does not include marriage consideration or a nomial consideration in money – s 132."
